On the Testing of New Recruits

Since we're trying to make some formal changes!as the clan starts back up, there's something that's been bothering me for!quite!some time that I'd like to voice my opinion in. I feel all the current members are pretty skilled, but what of the future? This may be just me, but before recruiting duties was formalized as being a!job for Naruto and Kisame, I was the one doing a lot of the testing. It was difficult for me since!the!requirements Naruto gave me were pretty vague, "see if they're strong". But what exactly does that mean? This is mostly for Kisame and Naruto, but I propose this: we come up with a small list of things to look for in a duelist when they test. For example:
-What kinds of cards they use in their decks. Do they run things like dark bribe, or wiretap?
-Testing their knowledge of rulings. See how they react to rule sharking, or if they understand the plays they've made are illegal
-attitude during the test. I can't tell you how many times that I got people looking to join who were complete douchebags unfitting to wear the name of Hokage.
Anyways, what do you guys think? I'd like the opinions of the Kage especially, since it comes down to your final decision.

I forgot to add, it doesn't have to be super strict, we have academies that'll wip new recruits into shape, but I feel a set minimum aptitude standard should be made.
